Thanks. I think it might have been a lister's car at some point, I know the p.o. wasn't. I thought the same thing when I saw those extra lenses on the rear. I swear I'd seen them before.
Anyway, just finished doing all the belts, rollers and water pump, looks like the car still needs some work. It's overheating every 5-10 minutes so I'm guessing there's still some air in the cooling system (I'll go and vent it properly tomorrow).
The tachometer only works occasionally, and the headlights, windshield wipers and a few other things only work when I turn the car on, turn the key back to accessory, then back to on again, strange. Some parts in the engine are also smoking, which I'm guessing is all of the residual oil I left behind while working on the car.
Other than all of that, this car drives great!

Thanks. I really like the clean lines of the S2, looks like the Turbo. But the red one you got is great looking too, what year is it?
I have a question as to the Horsepower of the 1986-1988 2.5 NA 8 valve engine. Is it 158HP?
The 89 came with the 2.7 liter right?
