Default Nothing like putting another 944 in the driveway!

I figured in my progression from n/a to S, I might as well take the logical next step to S2..

Just picked this up the other day..

Black on Black
New Koni's
Twisty rims with new tires
New Clutch
Newish drilled rotors
New belts, rollers, cam chain, cam chain tensioner
Newish Magnaflow exhaust
Some other new things..

I guess I'm a little excited..

By the way, funny story. I was sitting in Wendy's a little while back with my n/a parked outside. Some kids were sitting in the booth in front of me staring at it. The conversation was as follows:
"What is that thing?"
"Looks like an older Z.."
"Nah, it's an RX-7, I saw one the other day"
"You're all idiots, that's a Lotus, my dad has one just like that at home.."

I almost choked on my french fries..

Most people don't know what these cars are as you know. Anyway the S2 is a great car, best wishes with it!

Nice looking S2, congratulations on the pickup. All these nice pictures of 944s outside in the sun is really making me wish spring was here already.

That is what I thought, until I found myself with 2 broken 944s sitting in the driveway....

Looks like I will be playing hookie from work for at least a day or so this week to get the turbo on the road, and then diagnosing the N/A..

Good luck and congrats on the new purchase...

Thanks for all the comments! Yeah I'm loving this car, thanks Craigslist!

It was all sunny today, funny, I thought I'd give it a nice wash, and as soon as I was done a storm rolled in..

Seems like these things happen..

Jason, that's a beautiful car! Dude, what a nice list of mods! I'm sure you can't WAIT to drive it around. I know I couldn't!

That doesn't look like sunroof delete, I can see the sunroof.

Yep, no sunroof delete. When I saw that comment I rushed outside to see if it was really true, but.. oh well you can't have everything. Hand me a number for those manual latches please..

For all who don't know the car has a leaky water pump so I can't drive it yet.. The farthest I've driven it was from the trailer on the back of my truck to my driveway (and to the end of the block and back) Grrrrr..

I don't start work until late tomorrow, I'll try to get it all done in the morning. I'm dying to drive this thing!

Congrats on a beautiful black S2; black is so timeless on these cars. I also added your S2's little brother to my driveway last Friday, an 87 944S. It's nice to have an NA back in the family again.
