Perry, can you help me with something? I saw on the website that this thread is linked to that you have a picture of a map (looks like from mapquest) and you have drawn in routes from several different places. Is it possible that you can do a more detailed (more zoomed in) one for my caravan (not that good with a computer)? I wanted to be able to pass this around to all the guys coming with me so we don't get lost if we happend to get separated.

It starts in hwy 94 through Chicago to 80/90 across northern Indiana to these directions from Dan:
80/90 (Ohio Turnpike) East
4 South (appx 4 miles)
20 East (appx 10 miles)
250 South East (appx 10 miles)
13 South (30 miles)
30 East (5 miles)
Koogle Exit, South (1 mile)
430 West less than 1 mile
Oak Creek drive on the left.

You can post the picture to this thread or e-mail it to myporsche944@juno.com

Thanks if your able.

Cory

Perry,

You may want to add my route from the East to your page. I am leaving from Pittsburgh at 6 AM and taking 30 West pretty much the whole way. I am meeting up with Fred and his son-in-law(and their 2 951s) at the McDonalds' off the Raff RD. exit from 30 at about 8 AM. From there, we will come straight to the 'Fest, hopefully arriving around 9:30-10. If anyone else is going from PGH and wants to caravan, or if anyone else around Canton wants to meet up, post here. See you folks on Sunday!--PS, anyone have a nut for holding the inner black fenderwell onto the threaded stud--I am missing 1 on my drivers' side?

I can't promise that I'll have a chance. I am working 15 hour days until Saturday morning. Something about a nice promotion, shorter days... yadda yadda.

I'll do my best.

Fishey, it's still early in the game yet. I don't have THAT much faith in metorologists, and this IS Ohio you know. Nothing's going to ruin our good time. Being away from the sweatshop for the whole weekend, a great host for a great event, all these great cars and great people who love them, hell, I think I could be at a YugoFest in a monsoon and STILL have a blast.....

So who all is going up Saturday? I don't want the caravan to leave any body behind.
Post here if you're going Sat. or Sun. and where you plan to meet up.

I'll be at the Wilmington Pike spot around 11:00AM Saturday.

Next?

Everybody on this thread is coming from the north, so they may not necessarily look at this one if they are from the South.

You would probably get a better read if you posted a new thread and labeled it something like "Southern Ohio Guys Caravan Report Here". Either way... "this is gonna be great".

I may bring the "beater" 951 if its gonna rain. I hate to subject my 968 cab to anything less than fair weather these days, since I worked so hard to get it cleaned up. Every time I decide I am going to take it on a trip, it decides to rain. *sigh* Sorry guys...

The good news is that I will have more room to bring stuff if I do drive the 951... shall I bring a guitar?

Regards,
