Cool Hey everybody, here's my '88 944

What's up, i'm Robert from Raleigh, NC. I've been meaning to start a Rennlist account for a while now and finally did. Here's my 944 it's an '88 NA with 130k miles. I've had it for three years now and it's been nothin but good times.

Here's a few pics, if you wanna know all that's been done to her it's all on my cardomain site.

I almost have the same car as you.

instead of painting the guage cluster, i painted my interior trim. i think it looks very nice with the creme/black interior. it deffenitly wouldnt work with guards. take a look.

as for your avitar.
when your looking at the list, up at the top you have some options. goto my profile.
then view/update profile
then about half way down you see "select different avitar image"
when the little pop-up comes up at the bottom it says, "use cosyom URL"
just fill that in with the url from the photo upload page or your own place were you ahve your photos uploaded.

keep in mind you have to resize your pictures. they dont get small on theyre own. so a quick photoshop is usualy needed to bring the picture down to 130 x 100 pixels or something. i dont remember the exact.

but there ya go!

Nice car. Is anymorer of your interior color-coded or is it only the bezel, sterring wheel, and shift ****? And those gauges look so cool when lit.

Clean looking ride, I really like it. I've got the same gauges, don't they kick ***?

to Cass944, nice car do you have a cardomain site too? i think i've seen it. where did you get that shiny black thing with the porsche emblem in the place of the stock ash tray? did you make that?

when i painted the gauge cluster i considered doing the trim as well, but i was a bit tentative thinking that it might be too much and wouldn't look clean. but it looks really nice after all so i think i'll consider doing it. anyone ever seen those interior dash kits for 944s? they've got them in burgundy carbon-fiber too which makes it tempting... but the near 300 bucks it costs doesn't :/ http://www.exoticwooddash.com/wd203.htm <---there it is

Nice cars guys! It brings back memories of my first P-car and first car period, a guards red 88 944 n/a that had 62,000 miles on her when the engine compartment fire took her life. I still remember seeing my dad drive up in front of my grandma's house in that beautiful car while we were on a trip to South Carolina. He got out and sayed, "what do you think about this one Tyler?" I said it was great. He tossed me the keys and said, "Happy Birthday". I was only 15 and a half! I learned to drive in that car, and got my first kiss too. Ahh the memories...

i made this thing because i never use my ash tray. so many people wanted one that i decided to make a bunch but never actually did it. I was trying to make a list of people that wanted one. I have 3 on it now because i never actually anounced i was going to make any until i got the supplies and the proper equipment to make them correctly. Ill add your e mail address to my list and let you know when i make some.
