hello, its the rookie again.....(86'turbo)

I just droped my head in, I made the first 15lb torque sequence on all ten nuts.

heres the question

1.After I did the first pass the #1 and #2 nuts became loose...is that normal?

2.should I just continue with the next two steps??

please im doing it right now and I must know if thats normal before I go any further...Thanks

did you put some engine oil on the shafts?its wierd that they came loose. it happens on the cam because it goes down, you can even do a couple passes with your hands and an allen wrench instead of a socket but when i did the head it didn't come loose. I wouldn't worry about it too much, start over and tighten them all to 15 lbs again....if they come loose again....well i dont know

this might be a stupid thing to suggest but make sure all your valves are closed and whatnot. if one of them is hitting a cylinder then when you tighten it...the head will lower itself and the nuts you tightened on the other side will be loose because the head went down from under them.

damn, I forgot to put oil on the nut...

I think im just going to go over them again with 15lb and then wait 15 min and due the 90degree twice. thats sounds right...right.

ANy thing else I should look out for ?
