Post VDO???.../leak?

I know this will sound SOO stupid, but in the bottom of my gauges I see a print that says VDO, it doesn't lit up or anything, what is that? What does it stand for? Does it lit up? Also, I noticed yesterday that my driver side cubby hole was full of water, it had about 3" of water but noticed it dripping earlier that day, so who knows how full it was. I couldn't see where the water was coming in, so where do I start?? The passenger side is dry. Thanks ALL

Look for telltale moisture inside the lens. Do a search of prior posts for the instructions on how to repair.
