Post High Oil Consumption?

I just got my 924S back on the road after a long (9 mos) period of inactivity (needed a new clutch and I had to save up the $$$$ for it). The oil consumption is way up on it now (1 qt about ~200 miles), though it isn't putting out much smoke that I can see. I would start the engine periodically when the car was stuck in my garage, but I guess that wasn't enough. Am I now looking at a rebuild?

Starting the car periodically probably built up condensation in the oil and it is now burning off as you use the car. I'd change the oil personally, but it should be okay to just keep an eye on it and add as needed until the condensation burns off in a few hundred miles or so. For storage, it's a good idea to either not start the car at all or actually drive it around to heat things up to operating temperature. HTH
