So that will be done monday and then i'll put the 944 in and yank the motor and TRY and put the new one in.
Hey make sure you post any problems you encounter so that i can be prepared for them haha.....good luck man

Well, the update is very good! The 951 motor is resting soundly in the car as with my front suspension. Eveything so far is dropping directly into place. Got some of my Braided SS hoses on along with most of the wiring. Right now the clock says 9:51(good sign) and I'm off to a B-day party. I may dig into it a little more tonite. The front brakes are on and the wastegate looks like there will be good with no brute motivation. I don't have a digital camera, but my buddie that helped me out a bit got some that he's going to email to me. I'll try to get them up later tonite. I'm sure you guys want me to take a break (not for me, but for the pics lol) All seems to be good so far, with the exception of the nasy wheels that were on the car when we did the body work. I want my black twists on dammit! <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" />

No pics tonite, it's late, my buddie didn't Email them to me yet and I have to work in the morning. Sorry guys. I get off work at 5 tomorrow, I may have time to get some stuff done then. Anyone is still welcome to stop by if you want. It's starting to actually look like a car again, I'm pumped!

hey a couple quick questions for you. Did you put it in with the exhaust manifold on the engine already? Also you had no problems with the turbo clearing, everything fit? Because i was going to put everything in without the intake manifold so that i can see the turbo and make sure it cleared and without the exhaust to make it easier but if i can get it in, id rather put those things on while its on the stand ya know?

Andre - You can install the motor 100% complete. I left my intake off for clearance, but the rest (minus accessories) can go in. Much easier to install them with the motor out.
Here's my install. Lots of pics, so it takes a bit to load.

Ok sorry for the late update, been having troubles with the forum changes. I got the radiator in along with the fans and all coolant hoses. I had to space the radiator pan, and checked the fanshroud, same part#, not the same part, doah! I had to clean the turbo one and put it in. I may move to the rear suspension today and try to get the tranny in too. That's if the weather holds for me, it should be raining in about an hour or so. I'll see what I can get done inside for a while. I hope to see a few folks stop by this evening too.

Well, it decided to rain for a bit. I just said screw it and put the tranny in in the rain. I've been moving slow today, alot of sitting and thinking. Just making sure I got everything right and planned out for good results. I'm hurtin' , almost a week of constant work, the only break I've had, was a B-day party. That wasn't much of a break, being that I played raquet ball half the night. I'm not stopping yet, I will soon, the GF is getting jelous, lol
Having a blast, can't wait till it's done and I can spend more than 5mins at a time on renn to see what's going on with everyone else. Seeyas at the garage!

Well, I got one side of the rear suspension done before it stormed, Wade stopped by for a while, we shot the BS and watched it rain. I figured out why I was feeling bad, I haven't eaten anything since yesterday about 4:00, DOAH! Hopefully the weather will cooperate for tomorrow nite and I can finish the rear suspension, get the half shafts in along with the trans cooler.
