Default Looking to Rent, Borrow or Buy A Dial Bore Gauge

Hi,

Maybe a strange request -- but is there is anyone out there willing to lend, rent-out or sell a precision dial bore gauge. Resolution of .0001 in or .001 mm.

I am measuring bores of several different blocks before choosing which one is going to the machinist. I have used the telescoping gauges with a micrometer -- but I just don't trust my skills yet.

If no one is interested in this -- who out there would like to perhaps pitch in and share the tool together?

Thanks

That's seems to be a nice gauge. Funny how it has .00005" resolution and is less expensive than the Fowler analog with .001" resolution.

I was hoping to avoid a 200 dollar gauge for 1 set of tests -- but thanks for the lead -- might consider it.
