Red face On 86-944S Where is the fuel pump?

My 86' 944S, will crank and crank but won't start. I got spark and I replaced the DME relay but still no fuel coming out of the rail when I turned the key on. Maybe I have a bad electrical fuel pump, however I can't find it. I guess it suppose to be near the gas tank but there is nothing there but fuel filter canister. Anyway, I got a sore neck! now and is tried of looking. Anyone know where it is.

It is under a molded plastic cover over the fuel tank. You can follow the fuel line back from the filter to find it. You will have to remove a metal trap that helps support the fuel tank (don't worry, the tank won't fall).

Porsche Did not make a 944 super in 86. you either have an 87 or some one put a false badge on an 86. I have an 86 and the PO put a "S" under the 944. I am going to take that off one of these days. ( Would this be considered Porsche rice? )

I thought It was for Super. I think I heard that on the tape of Porsche promotions and commercials that Dan P sent me.
