It was a great time, only made better by the fact that I have some new friends! Who noticed that in the second race the guys running the track gridded their buddies ahead of the placement, my time showed 3rd, but the gridded my 5th! Oh well, it was still a blast, and great meeting ya'll. Keith, Joyce, Pete, I enjoyed dinner (thanks again Keith). Micheal, good luck in Germany, be careful. Pete, George, we MUST have a belt/clutch party. Keep in touch guys!

Joyce and I had "family obligations" come up at the last minute, so we had to opt out of the racing - but we did make dinner. We had four for dinner at Papisitos (sp?) and it was a great choice - food was excellent! Kevin even pulled an FOM (Friend of Manager) and scored a free dessert for the table. I think we need to include dinner in all future events! Great seeing you again Pete, sorry I could make the race.

I wondered what was going on. I don't have a problem with that. Those guys were bloody fast. The winner was a second a lap quicker than me and even lapped me. Of course, this was after clown behind me used me for his brakes in turn one and spun me around. I fixed him though. He was trying that crap all race long. When he nailed me, I just jammed the brakes and blocked the track on him. Hehe. Then they black flagged him. I love it.

It was a great time. One thing I noticed was the time sheet for the last session was only the qualifying laps. Did anyone get the race time sheet?

I didn't give the second sheet a close look, as I was tired when I got home, been up since 5:00 and getting back up at 5:00 to work a 16 hour day. I'll check them out tonight when I get home. I can't wait for the next outing/maint party.
