Post AVC-R/Wastegate install... (not the normal ?s)

Okay...Tial 46 and an A'PEXi AVC-R. I know how to intall the AVC-R. No problem. It is the vaccum tubes for the wastegate that I'm not 100% sure of. I have the diagram from TiAL. It shows a "6mm ID supply line min" going to "wastegate air control side port connection supply air from intake manifold before throttle plate" and the wastegate. That "6mm ID supply line" is 'the banjo bolt' right? The one on the IC piping? So, I'm assuming I have to splice the line, one line goes go the side of the wastegate, the other goes to the solenoid valve for the AVC-R.

Lastly...for the AVC-R, where did you all mount the solenoid valve and the pressure sensor?

I just want to get everything straight before I ruin something... <img src="graemlins/wave.gif" border="0" alt="[byebye]" />

A good place to mount the solenoid valve is right where the cycling valve is. I made a little adapter plate to bolt it to the original mount and all the plumbing is already inplace. It was a little tight, but it works out really well. You can also hook up the line that goes to the j-boot to the open (vent port) on the solenoid valve. This way you are not venting any metered air and if anything would be pulling a slight vacuum on the wastegate which will pulled it closed faster and tighter.

Thanks Rob and Tazman for the info. Though...I'm not 100% what is the cycling valve. I have the intake mnaifold and would like to remove/disable it now before I put it back on. Do either of you have a good picture of it? Perhaps a part number, so I can look it up in PET...?

Thank you much...

Did I take a picture of the right thing, or am I just an idiot?

That's It. On mine I removed it and made an adapter plate to mount the new valve to the existing mount.

Good luck with you install.
