Curious, would the later style 944 interior handles work in the early cars (my 924S)?

We 924s owners are stuck with the Volkswagen beetle stuff. Door handles, Steering column,door locks,etc. If later parts work -I would be surprised.

Yes with slight mods to the door panel (that are covered once you get the handle installed). I posted on this subject 2 or 3 years ago.

I saw an 84 944 recently, with early door panels but late inner door handles. So I'd say yes, some way or another...

There's some guy on there though that says I could use the late map pockets? I don't see how that's possible, but what if I was able to use the late door pulls, and late map pocket?

Would anybody care to photo shop the late door pulls, and late map pockets onto an early panel to see what it looks like?

If anyone with a silver 944 is interested in some brushed aluminium exterior VW/Audi handles, I have some.... Assuming they fit
