I can't stand Mike Brewer. I tried watching the episode where they bought an m3 and he kept saying m"free." I just had to stop watching after only a few minutes. Then there's the way he just starts a car up completely cold and just revs it. He's so annoying.

it was never aired in the usa, you can see the whole thing on youtube. i hate how cheap they find cars, you can't get any of those here in that condition for that cheap. i think usa people prize cars too much

Remember the exchange rate though. A car they find for 1000 in Britain is probably equivalent to a $1500-2000 car here.

I saw it a while back on HD Net. Good show and i like how he haggles. I guess the brits are used to it. People here get pissed off when you offer 10% less. But in some shows you can see them do more work then they said they did. And the budget is blown away in almost every show. Never to they show the cost of detailing.
Also the guy who says "Crackin" all the time has another show and ed is the mechanic. They take a buyer show him 4 or 5 cars then sells him one. Good show.

Unfortunately, they never count for any labor or time spent on either one of them?

They may have added value to this car, but actually decreased their profit and increased their amount of time spent on it. If profit were really the goal they wold have just cleaned it up a bit and sold it stock.

Noticed that too. They never add in Ed's wages for the hours of time he spends working on the cars.

Well taking an already decent 951 and fixing some minor problems on it isn't exactly good TV

Either is putting 80 hours of labor in a shop and forgetting to include that in the price

Give it a rest. It's not real ,the buyers and many other things just make for good tv . Some of the cars were up for sale long after the episodes ended, for more realistic prices too.

If you don't want to discuss the pros and cons of a show. Then you should "give it a rest" and just stay out of the topic.

The whole point of a forum is discussion! Don't want to talk about a topic.....don't!
