Post Before these go to eBay this weekend...

...I'll give my fellow Rennlisters a shot! I've got a set of original floor mats in tan that I bought before I realized my interior was called light grey! They are in great shape...the drivers mat has some heal matting, but the other three look new. Here's the set:

<a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/Mats_Small.jpg" target="_blank">http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/Mats_Small.jpg</a>

And the drivers mat:

<a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/Mat_Driver_Small.jpg" target="_blank">http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/Mat_Driver_Small.jpg</a>

$35/set to a Rennlister plus $5 shipping

I also have a brown rear shade that the PO had put on my car...it didn't match so I replaced it with a black one. It's in excellent shape...I can take a picture tomorrow if you'd like.

$35 to a Rennlister plus $5 shipping

PM me if anyone is interested...I'll put up on eBay Sunday afternoon if no one wants them.

Yea, my wife was in the garage last weekend: "What's all this 'stuff' laying around???"

Where do you get the light grey carpet pieces? Mine has also changed to a very light tan. Odd that the plastic pieces chose to discolor as well.

The only source I could find for mats that match my light grey (my car is Stone Grey as well) was Lloyds...they have a special color code that matches: 637-Light Grey'

It matches perfectly!!

Steve,

Have you heard the 'light grey' color described as 'linen' before? Thats what I was told my interior color was, but I've also seen some 'light grey' interiors that look pretty similar. Do you have a pic of your interior to compare to? Here's a pic of my dirty carpet for comparison:

Okay,

Travis has got the mats. So the rear shade is still available.

As for colors for the interior I believe '86 was the same '87...no such interior color as 'Linen'...it really is called 'Light Grey'!! I found out when I bought the '87 944 colors brochure!! I'll see if I can scan it in tonight and post it.

Well James got the rear shade! Boy, that was fast. While I'm on a roll, anybody need the factory Thule rack/bars for a 1994-2003 Saab 900/9-3 four door??? Found it hanging in the garage! Haven't owned the car in over a year!!

-Steve

P.S. I'll post a picture of my interior and a scan of the '87 color brochure in a bit...

Okay...here's a quick picture of my interior:

<a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/interior_small_1.jpg" target="_blank">http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/interior_small_1.jpg</a>

And another:

<a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/interior_small_2.jpg" target="_blank">http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/interior_small_2.jpg</a>

...and here's a sort of crappy picture of the color brochure...the scanner is having indigestion right now!

<a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/brochure_small_1.jpg" target="_blank">http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/brochure_small_1.jpg</a>

Hope this helps with the colors!!

Cheers,

Steve

I noticed you have the san jose/MP3000. What do you think of it. Mainly with respect to functionality and quality.

I was thinking of getting the San Jose for my black/black turbo. I'm just not so sure about the silver. I really want a black radio that will match the interior better

Riff,

How about the same deal...$35 plus $5 for shipping? I think they went for about $100. Nice thing is they don't need locks...they go into the holes under the weatherstrip and can't be removed without opening the doors. So let me know if you're interested...

John,

I've had good luck with the Mp3000...only cost me $195...and with MP3 cd's I don't need a changer. I've had more trouble getting good MP3 quality! But a new writer and better ripping software has solved that. I've even now found brand new music cd's that have crappy tracks!!
