And you thought the red rear lens panel was ugly?

Look at <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2419383780&category=6434" target="_blank">this thing</a> on ebay.
You'll probably have to select the picture of the rear.
Maybe some of you think the red is less hideous?

I always kind of liked my RED rear lens panel - and now I like it even more. That amber one really doens't work with the red body. I wonder if it would work with any body color?

I thought my old NA needed paint. Maybe paint the whole car that amber color to match the light bar? That might not looks too bad. Then again, you have an amber car. Hmmm...

Tom, I've always liked my red panel too, but some don't - personal preference as with everything else, but this thing might make some of those who dislike the red panels like them a bit more?

Mine has faded a little in the ever-present S. Cal. sunshine, and does not match the taillights anymore.
Thanks!

Just get a spray can of Testors #1605 from the local hobby shop and spray on a thin coat. A suprising close match to the tail lights. Closer than the tail light cells match each other.
If you screw up your paint job (like applying too heavy a coat) you can strip it off with acetone and start over. I don't have one of those center light bars, but it should work fine. Works on turning the amber turnsignals red.

I have a black car so I had a shop take clear and add black toner to it and sprayed all my lenses, sides, front turn sigs and rear. I think it looks fantastic. You can get an idea from the pic on the website. I'll post more pics as I get them on disc. Anyway, just a suggestion.
