My brother bought an 84 with 34k last summer for 7500. thats about $1,000 for every 10,000 miles, and going up.

wonder what the reserve is.

At just an average of 900 miles (apox) a year I would be a bit to worried about the number of parts that would go bad if the car was driven again.

Sure it looks nice, and if was for a collection it would be great, but I for one am not for buying cars just to look at them (even though my car has not driven anywhere in 6 months that was not my intent).

It seems that the early 944s listed on eBay always advertise their mileage as what's indicated on the 5 digit odometer, but you know you need to add 100k to that. This one looks like the real deal, it's immaculate. But like Ian, I think I'd be afraid to drive it like I want to drive. Mine has needed paint, and I've intended to get on that since I got it last summer, but when I think about having to be cautious with a new paint job,,,well I just seem always to find something else I need to do first. <img src="graemlins/wave.gif" border="0" alt="[byebye]" />
