Best source for new window regulators?
You guessed it... Sticky windows at 14 years and 144k miles. So, where have folks bought them? Performance Products lists them. My friends at Paragon Products (out there Skip)?
Thanks in advance,

Dave, I saw a right hand side unit on eBay the other day that appeared to be brand new. Looked like it could go cheap.
I needed one for the driver's side, and ended up buying it at the local dealership the other day. Using my $100 PCA discount certificate took the sting out of the purchase, but otherwise it would have been $215 or so.
Good luck.

Try www.gprparts.com, www.eurowebparts.com, www.allzim.com. Let me know if you want more sources for this regulator, I had to buy the motor and regulator about a year ago, but I cannot exactly remember where I bought it from, I think I paid like $135.00. I will try to dig up the reciept!
Hope this helps you on your journey.

Dave,
A sticky regulator normally just needs cleaned/relubricated. The grease in the transmission of my 78 928 had turned to wax pellets and caused intermittent problems. Actually the motors on these regulators are pretty hardy and rarely go out. The most common problem is the switch (have you cleaned them?) and corroded connectors at the motor.

That's good info. They have been cleaned but it seems that a couple of key parts are pretty badly worn. It's good to hear the motors are hardy. Not an inexpensive "while you're in there" kinda item to replace.
