Default brown brake fluid

Y'all have to see the junk that came out of the brakes I just bled on my track car 944 project.

It seems the previous owner used ATE Super Swamp Water fluid.

Standard color of brake fluid that hasn't been changed for way too long. Water gets absorbed by the brake fluid, and things start to rust from the inside. Lack of maintenance = brown brake fluid.

Many (if not most) of the 944s ending up in wreckers' yards these days are probably there because their previous owners had neither the means nor motivation to maintain them properly.
