ok,wow,i made my own emergency jumper on the DME,the gas started coming out,so i connect the fuel line to the fuel rail, and connect the emergency starter and BOOM one or two of the injectors pop out...note,i dont have everything put back on the car like THE CLIPS THAT HOLD THE INJECTORS AND FUEL RAIL TOGETHER THAT SLIDE OUT...is that the fuel injector poped out?
should the pump keep making that noise? honestly i never heard that noise from the pump for whatever reason..

put everything together again and put the clips on the fuel injectors, they dont pop out any more but the car still wont start...i wonder if the Distributor Rotor has to be in the place it was from factory? cuz i did not pay attention where it was pointing

Three Wheelin'
Did you leave the jumper in? When you turn the key off the pump should shut off. If you still have the jumper in, it will run forever or until the battery dies. Which ever comes first.

The pump will probably make LOTS of noise if you don't have any pressure building up in the line (i.e. blowing gas and not returning it through the fuel line and back to the tank). The type of pump the car has makes pressue and requires a certain amount of backpressure to flow right. Otherwise it cavetates and makes noise (think of the submarine in the movie Hunt for the Red October which was making noise with it's big screws turning before going to the caterpillar drive).
I hear my pump engage when I turn on the key, but other than that it's nearly silent, especially under all that cover in the back!

ok,now i dont have sparks on the plugs....i have a spark at the one coil cable that goes to the ignition coil to the Distributor Cap,when i start to crank the motor..but i get no spark at any of the spark plugs...is there way to install the rotor wrong?
