Default Wheel Fitment Question

Can anyone confirm if the following wheels will fit an '87 944?

BBS Sport Classic II's

7 1/2J X 18" ET 50
10J X 18" ET 65

I had these on my 993 and someone recently asked me if they would fit on a 944.

Thanks for your help.

Those will fit on an '87 and later 944 (and turbo).

Nice wheels.

How can you tell what wheels will fit and what ones won't without screwing up the odometer too badly?

This is one area I'm a complete newb in frankly. My '87 NA still has the original phone dials, which are a) starting to look pretty ratty and b) getting hard to find tires for (since they are 15's, places like Costco, etc. don't have a tire that fits)
