Default Springs, get your springs here - Fuchs also...

See Post # 18 for the latest update...

A friend of mine was commenting that where we live there aren't many P nuts and he has a garage full of stuff he wants to get rid of.
Unfortunately for him, he's not very computer literate (he's only a bank VP !!) but I told him I'd give it a shot on the best Porsche place on earth... RENNLIST

So this is what we have...

3 pairs of Hypercoil Springs, 2 1/4" by 8" in 300#, 350# and 400#.
I'll let them go for what I sold my others for which is $70/pair shipped in the continental US
.
.
.
He also has 2 full sets of original fuch wheels with an orange painted center and polished rims.

They are the very rare 8's and 9's by 16"

He'll take $5595 for all 8 or $2950 for 4 (2-8's and 2-9's) plus S&H

Here's a picture of his car with the wheels on it.

I think 300 would be too stiff with stock rest of suspension on my 83.

If you have the konis rebuilt so they can take a 2 1/4" spring... then they'll work. You'll need threaded bodies and spring perches that are the right size.

I think 8" might be too long for the rear coilovers, if you decided to remove your torsion bars and go that route... Otherwise, just get the hollow weltmeister torsion bars. You've got the resources to do a torsion bar swap and index. It won't be too painful.

Just an fyi, I have 8" springs on my coilovers all around. Since the perches are adjustable it's no big deal and this is what the standard Racers Edge Coilovers use.

I don't think so. I think he had them painted when he did his car's paint scheme.
They are in very good condition.

Im not sure what koni's your referencing but my hacksaw koni's with the Paragon ARHK take 2.5" springs.

You can't just send the Konis back to Koni and tell them you want to use 2 1/4" springs... please send the right perches/threaded body?
