Looks like about a foot on the ground so far
Just got back from driving the subaru around the neighborhood.
Zoltan, you're right...these subie's sure do oversteer when you get on the gas. (subaru outback, 4 cyl)

We got about 8 in. Mon and I got stuck here for Christmas (didn't go to Springfield,Ill. for Christmas) missed a whiteout in Mo. and had a lot of fun tubing with my son today. But I still HATE cold.
Falfen 512s are pretty good in the snow.
1987 anti-lock is still kind of scary!!!!!!!

The fun part--doing donuts in the church parking lot with wifey and the kids howling last night. (In her Audi, the 968 is nicely cocooned in the garage).
The not so fun part-a hour shaking off the snow from the arbor vitae, a fifty foot hedge that had some almost doubled over from the weight of the ice and snow.

Yep, they sure do!
Drove home in the Subbie (4cyl Legacy sedan) from South NJ last night: there was a Mustang that past me like I was going backwards. (I was doing about 50-60 on Rt. 80). I figured he was either really stupid, or one of them Norwegian rally drivers!
Half an hour later, I see him crawling along: there were spin marks across 2 lanes of snow-covered roadway just before I caught up to him.
I guess he wasn't one of them rally guys...
Stay safe!

Hello Zoltan.
I hope that youand your family had a very Merry Christmas.
I saw quite a few Spun out cars on the way home from Queens last night(rte 80W).
I always enjoy reading your good humored posts.
Any goodies going on the car for next year ?
Eugene.

Thanks Eugene!
Goodies for my car? I just got new CV joints, and a wiper motor. While they were working on my car, they noticed a leaking clutch master cylinder. So I now have a new master/slave! (I can't tell you how much the final bill was, since this is a public forum, and the number may get back to my wife!!!! hehe...)
Next goodies: I'm looking for a set of used wheels: (16x7, 16x8) since I'll be getting a second set of tires for DE / autocross. (Right now, I'm leaning towards getting the Pirelli P-Zero-C's.) Also looking to replace the rod-bearings in February.
I did get a power brake bleeder for Christmas, and a couple of 944 books. Also got the Mark Donohue book: The Unfair Advantage. In the winter, I since I can't have any "seat time," at least I can have some "read time!"
Hope all is well with you and Stephania!
Regards,
