Does it slip in all three gears or just one?

If your interested in swapping a manual in there I can hook you up with everything you need very reasonably, and were not too far away from each other.

It sounds to me like it is probably the tranny and not the tq converter since it sounds like it is just one gear. I had a similar problem, had the trans rebuilt, and it didn't fix it, so a I bought a new one and it fixed my problem. Auto transmissions are usually cheap on eBay.
