Default timing belt roller?

I know there are two different size rollers available. This being a later car (latest, that is) with the late water pump, I had ordered the late roller. But I was just looking at it again, and it looks like the roller is deflecting the belt too much. Does this look OK or should I get a small roller for this? TIA.

Pretty sure that's how mine looked on my 87S, when I finished the belts in Oct.
I think it pushes gently on the belt to reduce play and keep it away from things, because it's a long span if it doesn't touch anything, increasing the change for it to come into contact with something else. I'm due for the 2,000 mile check/re-tension anyways so if it warms up in the next few days here I'll take a picture of mine.
