Post A driver school for Christmas????

Yep, my family know of the little car obsession (how could they not the 951 has been in their garage for almost 6 months and hardly moved) and giving gifts to some who is obsessed with cars is not the easiest thing in the world, so with the gift of a drivers school (Porbably at VIR) they really did a great job....

Now just to pick the school i'm going to go to, and get the car ready. The first part is easy the 2nd, err, well once those new IC pipes get here I should at least be close, unless we do the color swap thing keith, in which case I'll put off the school till a little later..

Merry Chirstmas to all....

Keith,

You wouldn't happen to have a spare J pipe that connects the turbo to the IC pipes would you? I am trying to see if the EBC I got works, and well with out intercool pipes that is not an easy task...

And yes motivation is good, I think the first school I really want to go to is in feb, so we have a little time, but after we get the swap done we will still have to do alighments, and all that fun stuff.

Also do you have a lead on any 87 or later front hubs/spindles? I would like to do that while we are in there, and then mount my S4 calipers as well....

Are you referring to the rubber J-shaped HOSE that connects the IC pipe to the turbo?

If so, then sadly, no.

About the spindles, I wonder if 87+ turbo spindles are different than 87+ NA spindles?

I think I have a spare J-pipe...

(Rubber, stock one of course)

It has a tear in it on ond end...but it may work OK. I think I tore it when I removed it, but if not the car drove fine with that torn boot.

Here's a pic of the tear:

(Yes it would be free + shipping of course!)

Ian - wanna get together tomorrow or Friday? (or Saturday?)

I'll bring a pad of paper and a calendar and we'll plan this thing out and get slamming as soon as possible...

Lemme (and everyone else reading this) know.

I don't have any time off work tomorrow or firday, but I'd be more than happy to get together after work. I'm at work to 6 both days, so just let me know.

And no that is not the pipe i'm looking for, it is the pipe that connects the turbo to the intercooler pipe, mine was torn very badly, I was going to just duct tape it up and make a run around, but that is not going to work.

Also keith, I want you to have a very good look at my car before we go any further, when dealing with friends I don't want to do anything that would make you think I was hiding anything about my car.

You have seen it, but there are the little things.

AC needs help (but I don't want AC so when we do the swap we can pull the AC off yours)
Windows are slow (why I have no idea)
I want my tail lamps (all red, just my thing)
I know we bill swapping most part, but I don't know the condition of my head, or the rest of my motor, if you want to tear into my motor to see I would be ok with that.

I'm trying to remember - is your house the 2nd driveway in the series, or the first? (from the road)
