Alternate fill method for transaxle needed!

I think your idea of using the rectangular opening on the opposite would work. You would have to disconnect the shift linkage arm and then unbolt the triangular plate and then remove the shift rod & spring. Not terribly difficult to do and certainly better than trying to force the oil 'uphill'....
