The wife bought nothing for the 83 project but "Santa" bought some new switches, dash, shifter boots (rubber and leather), shifter cap, white gauge faces, speakers, and a steering wheel. There will be more to come but I want this car looking and driving good by April.

I got a 87 951 that I'm driving home on 1/1.

On top of that, I bought a LeBra that I'm taking with me for the drive home (the PO has some mirror covers), an orbital buffer and a couple hundred dollars worth of polish, wax and various other cleaning/detailing supplies - lord knows it will need it after a 1500 mile drive...

A new key head with actual crest and functioning light! I really was pleased (but not enough to let her drive it).

On the 12th day of Christmas my owner bought for me

2 Koni inserts
2 Bilstein dampers
6.5 L of Mobil 1
(5w-50 weight w/ syntec)
Delrin front sway bushings
A new CV boot
Some replacement cooling hoses
Five... belt... rollers!
one balance belt
one T-belt
a Mahle oil filter
and a full set of front engine seals!

(OTOH, all my owner got is some new tools to do all the work...)

It will be getting a colonoscopy - er, a coolant flush and possibly a new radiator. She's been running a little hot on the track...
Plus a couple of sunroof microswitches since the roof has been INOP for a year or so. . .
