Post Ok starting to restore my 944

Hey, know that I've gotten the engine running up to part I'm going to work on getting the rest of the car up to shape. Here's what I know for sure I have to do.

-heater clip thing.. not so much a problem but annoying (coming in monday)
-motor mounts (should be arriving monday)
-power steering rack (meridian the cheapest/best choice?)
-fix exhaust leak at the hedder (how hard is getting to that? from the looks of it, it seems to be a pita
-fix the drivers side door, it wont lock when the door is open and starting yesterday i cant open the door from the outside... heard a little pop and now theres no resistance on the handle
-paint job (needs one pretty badly =/ the sunroof is totally out of shape (looks like a replacement) and all around fading)
-sunroof motor (not a big deal)
-fix oil pressure gauge (pretty important, i think its the sender)

whew thats a lot of stuff... she should be pretty damn spiffy when I do finish all this stuff... some of it is more of a long term project like paint job though.

Yeah once all that stuff is done it should be in pretty good condition... then comes suspension mods... and then engine. I either want to drop in a 951 motor, go supercharger, or v8 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Obivously you will have to repair the driver's door handle because the little arm inside has broken. However, that has nothing to do with the fact that the driver's door will not lock when it is open. It is NOT supposed to. It was designed that way to prevent you from locking your keys in your car.
