Default belt rollers lubrication

When installing replacement belt rollers for timing and balance belt replacement meaintenance, is any lubrication recommended/required? (Can't find any mention of roller replacement on Clark's garage...)

AFAIK, zip. Nada. Nothing. These rollers have bearings inside that should not be lubricated.

Thanks, Luis. Yeah, they look like sealed units. But -- I'd rather ask than to have them seize because I should have applied some grease!

Merry Christmas!

So a nice constant coating with Power Steering fluid is a bad thing, right?

If they have any noise or roughness or looseness, they should be replaced. Idlers and tensioners, balance and timing belts.

No kidding! Another belt killer are leaking front engine seals, which is why they should be replaced periodically along with belts and rollers.
