Lightbulb Best camber plates for a 944?

So it's time to do phase 2 of my suspension upgrade. I've already done springs and sways. Now it's time for camber plates. Who makes the best ones and why?

Lindsey?
Racer's Edge?
Ground Control?
Other?

Let me put in a word for the bottom rung. I got Mookeh (MK1) off Ebay. They work fine. They are basic and solidly made. They mount under the strut hole, so you need adjustable coilovers to re-set ride height. I've got 6 track days on them and a bunch of street miles. No issues.

I'll be the first to admit that they're the cheap man's choice. Hey, I saved like $100 getting these over a name brand. Properly invested in the stock market, that money is worth like $50 right now.

PS: One of the "legit" camber plates was recently on sale. I don't recall which one.

I am also using the cheaper mookeh, while i havent relly driven my car but around the bock since i installed them 6 months ago, i dont see any reason they would fail.. I am using them with hacksaw koni's and Paragons ARHK.

You need to look at your suspension as a package deal.
Are you planning on going to full coilovers? If so get the plates made by the company that makes the coilovers.
I have the full Racer's Edge suspension on my race car and could not be happier. But some parts are made to fit together and will not work with other brands...

Racer's Edge work fine for me. Tried the Mookeh plates, but couldn't get enough shock travel to be happy..

Ground Control makes a good set too.

If you do not have adjustable height suspension, then you need to find camber plates that have a recessed mount, to match the OEM strut mount. MK1 definitely will raise the suspension if you can't adjust them down.

I have Paragon's adjustable ride height coil over kit. So if the plates raise the ride height, I can just adjust it down.

The only thing I don't like about the Racer's Edge product, is that it doesn't have the degree markings on the plate. I think that's important when you're trying to reproduce settings, or go back to street mode.

This car is being targeted for either 944 Spec or 944 Cup, so I want one purchase and be done with it.

Plates that go under the strut housing shorten shock travel. GC makes a new style similar to RE, and I think they have hash marks too.

If you're going back and forth between a street set up and track set up I can understand but if you're setting the car up for track (i.e.944 Cup) I doubt that you drive it on the street much...
Once you get the neg camber you want (-3 to -3.5) you can take a screwdriver and make a scratch on the plate if it's important to you. I've run my car for 2 seasons with the RE setup and the camber hasn't moved at all...

You can make your own marks. As noted, if you prep the car for 944 Cup, it's very unlikely to be a street car anymore. Stripping the interior and installing a cage pretty much makes it a single-purpose implement.

If it's a street/track combo car, then I would pick a setting (e.g. -2.75 degrees) and leave it. That's what I did.

I would second the opinion of finding one setting and leaving it because when you change your camber, you are also affecting your toe.

I just got a set of the Mookeh plates. The spherical bearing is not dust shielded, so Im planning on trying to keep these clean. Id imagine they will fail because of road grime being thrown into the spherical bearing. Otherwise, they are stout, will shorten shock travel, but I doubt too much.
