I've worked with Matt at TPWS. He's solid and a pleasure to deal with. One of the only guys I've ever taken a car too who I know isn't doing stuff that doesn't need to be done or raking me over the coals.

They specialize in the old stuff - very comforting to pull up for the first time and see about 5 944/951's sitting out in front...

Second vote for Matt @ TPWS, great guy great shop great attitude.

And for the record I'm about to try to start my 951 today after rebuilding the top end, never sold it

Austin folks,
You all are lucky to have TPWS there. Had my PPI done. Matt's got a GREAT eye! Got the car in, inspected, called me, and faxed the report. Thorough inspection. Anyway, wanted to say thanks for the referral. Good experience!

We're trying to start a monthly GTG at Rudy's in north austin once a month. Mostly we're posting on the 928 board, but you guys are all welcome. Its the second saturday every month at 11 am. We had a 944 and 951 there a few weeks back on Valentines day. More the merrier. Good food, good people.

I should be able to make it out this next time. Durning the last GTG, you guys were eating and laughing and I was pulling and installing a transmission. Not a fun job, but it lives.
