Post A/C Drain?

Although I've had my '91 S2 more than two years I just noticed the other day that there are no tell tail drips of condensation under the car when the A/C is running. Also I've been under the car a bunch and I don't ever recall seeing a drain tube exiting the firewall or anywhere else, so my question, before I tear into the netherworld under the dash is: Just where is the drain tube from the evaporator core box located? Although I've not pulled the carpet up, it neither feels wet or smells wet so where is the water going?
Thanks,
Mark K.

If you pull out the radio, you can easily reach the drain tube. It'll be a little rubber tube going thru the carpet.
