I just installed my 993 rims and noticed that the fronts have 225/45/17 tires. The stock was 225/50/16. Are the new sizes ok? Backs are 255/40/17 but I believe these are fine....

I think 225/50-17's is a little larger in diameter, so you may need to go with 225/45-17's, if they make such a tire, in order to have the same circumference as your stock tires.

A 225/45 17 front is the correct match for a 255/40 17 rear. Just mount them on your car as is and enjoy.

These 993's look sweet...now what to do with my Club Sports.....anyone have Club Sports painted or powder coated white with a Silver Rose car? That may be a good looking combo....what do you think?
