Post Engine rebuild at Bill's this weekend?

Are you guys doing it this weekend, if so what time tomorrow [sunday]? I'm gonna check out the autocross as De Anza college early in the morning and then head down to Gilroy if you guys are doing it.

Bill,

Are you folks still working on Gabe's rebuild today? It's Sunday here in misty Santa Cruz...

If the mist keeps up or turns to rain, my landscaping plans are shot, and I'll sneak out to Gilroy.

Cheers,

Deni and I went down to Bill's Sat. afternoon after I got my car back together. We played with my alignment settings on his laser leveled alignment rack (garage floor) using my custom precision toe guage (2x2, paint sticks and drywall screws). When we left that evening, they had finished putting on the head and turbo and should be close to finishing it today. They intended to be working on it today.

Chris,

It's nice to have access to such an amazing array of professional tools. Weather permitting, I'll be heading over to see such wondorous skills in action first hand. I'm personally hoping that there would be some demonstrations showing the fabrication of a new block with the time honored metal heating, folding and pounding techniques of the Damascus sword makers utilizing some empty beer cans for the aluminum.
