whats the best way to remove them. the engine keeps turning so its hard to losen up the bolts. it there a way to lock it in place or something. other than just grabbing it...

An impact tool will allow you to remove them without having the flywheel turn on you
.
Or you can use one of those flywheel locks...

I am confused on how the flywheel lock will work in removing the flywheel. The ring gear is attached to the pressure plate, and the pressure plate must be removed to get access to the flywheel bolts. I know you were just in there, so how did you do it?
I used a breaker bar on the crank bolt to hold everything still. Make sure you re-torque it when you get the pressure plate on, when you can use the flywheel lock.

Porsche has a special tool that bolts using the attachment points for the bellhousing and locks the flywheel. I am on the road, but can post a pic of it. The factory service manual for the engine has the tool pictured and installed.

The flywheel lock is really more of stater ring gear lock. When doing a clutch the bell housing and the starter ring a typically removed so you can use them.
This leave 2 ways
1) impact wrench. This will get the bolts loose, but will not cause the engine to turn
2) Socket on the crank bolt and holt it fixed.

I used an impact wrench after soaking the bolts liberally with penetrant...I did three engines and only one was a pain in the a$$...I used heat on those and it worked well..

Impact wrench... worked like a charm.
