944 -> 968 with pics!
Check out this 944 that someone tried to transform into a 968.
Looks kind of good, but different - I don't like the Strosek rear hatch to much..
Its for sale for 13.900 Euros, about the same amount in USD.. Pretty much for an old 944.

Now, if it were a 951 with the 968 type rear end but keeping the 951 front, that would be awesome!</strong><hr></blockquote>
I agree, the 968 front looks like a rip-off ftom the 928. The 928 I like since it looks wider and more powerful but I've never been a fan of the 968 front..

What's blue?
Like the idea of using the 968 rear panel on a 944. Sure would fix my crushed in rear!
Hmmm.
Euro's the same as a US dollar! Why did't you use the US dollar in the first place???

It looks doctored to me, I think they applied a filter to the background to give some kind of enhanced contrast to the car. I think the car would look pretty cool if not for the tan seats and painted rims.

The euro is pretty new on the market and as more european countries join the European Union and perhaps also exchange their national currency for the euro it will change i value.
At the moment one euro is about 0,97 US$ but that will fluctuate. In the late eighties a dollar was worth about 40% less compared to the Swedish crown and over the last year the crown has gained about ten percent on the euro and dollar in value.
We still have our own currency in Sweden, not sure that Sweden will join in and change to the euro.
It has as all coins a flip side, personally I think that we should join as soon as the economy is slowing down after having been good for a few years. Not sure that now is the time...
At this point it is really cheap for US citizens to visit Sweden compared to how it was ten years ago when it was the opposite.
Why don't all of you guys bring your families over here on vacation and see the midnight sun in the summer - and spend as many dollars you can..

I would make a few changes... I dont like the 968 style turn signals..it would look better with the plain 951 front end..it also needs some 968 door handles... and what is with that goofy old 911 style truck shifter?
