I think a 951/S2 with a 968 rear and lights instead of the pop-ups.. Like these lights:

Oh, and make it red or black please!

at first i thought the 968 was morph of 928 and 944.... but you can CLEARLY see some 993 in those beautiful front fenders!!! i vote 968, coupe or cab, whatever the flavor, they're awesome cars.

Personally I really like the 944S2 Cab with top up!

To me it very speedsterish look. Very sleek and elegant.

Call me a pompous owner, but mine looks the best! 1986 Turbo with the dark Graphite paint that shows off the slightly darker black Fuchs with the early offset and fat lips along with the black trim and spoilers. Dark grey and black were made for each other. Neighbor calls her the F-117. I think the thing looks like its going 120mph parked in my driveway. My next goal is to get a dark grey M3 with similar colored black rims/polished lip.

I like a black 951 + turbo twists + clear lenses + fuba antenna + 968 wing + front lower lip. I currently only have a black 951 minus everything else i named. Oh I forgot to mention- under the bonnet, it MUST look like perry951's with the black on black intake, cam cover combo- beautiful!

I felt the same way when I first got it- i contemplated getting the Strosek? hatch replacement. What do most people feel about that?

Oh BTW, where can I get that front lower lip from? and how much?

In stock trim, a Zermatt with Gray sport leather 951 has it hands down.

Modified, 951/968 cab converson as shown here:

Elegant, sporty, and full of class. I have not seen another car on this forum that got my attention as much as FXMasters cab.

It's interesting how everyone's tastes vary.
I'm a 100% stock-look advocate simply because
I think the cars age better this way, as has
already been pointed out.

I agree that there is a front/rear imbalance
on the turbo nosed cars, to an extent, but
this is really just on U.S. spec cars, which
have the 5 mph bumper requirement. The euro
rear bumpers are quite nice and blend better
with the lines of the car.

I also agree that the cabrio with the top up
is "Speedster-looking." In fact, the windshield
is raked back and 2" lower than on the coupe.

In 1991 Porsche was winding down 944 production
and sent the model out in style, building 527
of the last 951S cars as "turbo cabriolets,"
something they never did with the 968 line.

They're definitely not as eyecatching as
FXMaster's cabrio, but the turbo badge on
the rear panel is the only giveaway on this
otherwise sleeper 944 cabrio. I'm looking
forward to fitting it with some factory C2T
wheels like Cory's to give it more of a turbo
look, but that's all I would ever do to it.

Ditto for this 944 precursor. See Avatar. Yummy.

My picks are:
Paul Bloomberg's Red Widebody Turbo
A 968 turbo of course!

I want a black/black 89 Turbo S, 18" of some sort, AIR splitter, 968 side skirts, GT-Racing rear bumper, 968 mirrors/handles, 924 Turbo intercooler vents...it goes on and on

I think this car is perfect, except replace spoiler with a 968 Turbo S wing in carbon fiber.
