Cool God loves me!!!!

Did the timing belts, waterpump and seals a couple weeks ago.

So, coming home late Saturday night I noticed that the steering got hard then the alternator gauge dropped and all the idiot lights came on. I'm thinking Oh crap now what? I've got to drive this thing to Illinois Monday morning.

After I got home I pulled the airbox and saw that the pulleys came off of the front of the crank.

Had it hauled to the mech. this morning and a roller for the timing belt had siezed in less than 2 tanks of gas-no damage/no cost...except for the case of Corona I promptly returned with. Great mech.

Got snowed in Tulsa for Christmas now, but not paying for a damaged S head is a great Christmas present.

I think we should blame that same god for letting the engine fail in the first place.

Hi Tim..

The big God didn't cause the failure....It was those Porsche designers who like that title for themselves!!!!!

Happy Holidays!!

I believe a prayer of thanks would be in order. I'm happy for you!

Must be the same God that helped me get my 944S2 home from Watkins Glen with a failed H2O pump. 4+ hours of driving, 1 overheat (after my on-track overheat), and I made it to my mechanics without damaging anything else on the car!

God must be a Porsche guy!

Also: while I don't think there will be racing in heaven (since no one is a loser!) there better be some nice tracks to do DE's on! hehe...
