Well, looks like I won't bother calling and asking about the non powered mirrors then.
Dan, I could have sworn he told me $265 delivered, but give me til the end of today and I will look up how much got charged to the credit card.

Sunset sells at 15% over cost. I can see no incentive to offer a group purchase, but it never hurts to try.
Second, the 968 mirrors will fit the 944 doors without modification. There are a ton of 944's running around with aero mirrors from donor 968's that were wrecked.
As for the electrics - unless you just want to make your car some caveman coupe, then get the electric units. The electric motors weigh next to nothing. You can get the complete electric 968 Aero Mirror upgrade kit from Sunset for around $360 including shipping. If I recall mine were $357 total.

According to 944racing.com, the kit they have, which is the same as what you are talking about I believe (the RS non-power kit), does not come with the bases. They told me that they didn't look very good without the proper bases and advised me not to purchase them until they can source the proper bases and make up their own "kit".
I'd be interested if we were certain about the base situation.
