Post Mp3 CD Players

Approximately how many songs can you put on a cd in mp3 format to play on a mp3 cd player?

At cd quality approximatly 170 songs, more if you go less quality. I recommend the new alpine units.

I've got an Aiwa CDCMP32. Not too bad, but when you go over big bumps fast it skips.

It basically depends on the quality of the songs. The higher bitrate/sound quality, the more space they occupy. I have a single cd in which all, except for 1-2, songs are encoded at 128kbps and it has around 170 songs. It also depends on the length of the songs you're recording.

I have an Alpine 7894 and like it more everyday...

It REALLY depends on the quality, but on average you should be able to fit 10x as much as a standard cd. I've got 50 mp3 cds, friends with lots more.

CDs hold 700MB, songs are about 1MB per minute, at an average quality, so...700 minutes, give or take a lot.

It will record you MP3's from a CD and also play MP#'s/CD's ect.

That is what I use. I also have a kenwood MP3 player in my car. I like it. You can divide the songs up into named folders and then scroll through the folders with the keypad or remote. And you can make the display do different things like scroll the name of the song by. Also my LCD screen changes colors!

I usually have only one cd with me which have folders for my favorite '60's, '70's '80's & '90's tunes... Then i noticed there is also a "RAP" folder with Eminem etc. How can that be possible?? After all iam a old guy and i don't listen RAP.....
