Post name that noise

Yesterday as I am turning into a parking lot I turn down my radio and hear a sound like a coke can being dragged behind my car? When I got back into my car it starts making this clunking sound as I accelerate. The sound is very similar to a rock in an aluminum can. But it goes in a rythm with the turning of the wheels. I got out and looked to make sure nothing was dragging the wheels or under the car, drove for about 3 miles and it stopped? Then last night I get in my car to drive home and it is doing it again? Any inexpensive ideas?!??!!

Rear wheel bearing, or maybe a loose heat shield.

Water, hey thanks for the reply. I will look into the bearings. The sound is for sure coming from the rear of the car.... I just hope it is not my cv joints? I have never had any go out so I dont know what the symptoms are? But the bearings sounds like a good start!
