I just refreshed my fuel injectors.
Yesterday I followed This Pelican Parts Tech Document and cleaned and replaced the o-rings, spacers, and caps on all four of my fuel injectors yesterday evening. The total parts cost was about $12.
Wow, what a difference! The car starts up smoother. There is no more fuel smell in the cabin. I can feel that the engine has compression again! My fuel economy returned to normal. No more stuttering at idle or in low RPM's.
If anyone has not done this, I highly recommend it!
Now I just need to take care of that cracked dash. Does anyone recommend a dash pad/cover that looks exceptional on a 944?

I didn't do the battery thing. I just replaced all of the fuel injector o-rings, spacers, and caps. Make sure you lube up all the rubber with ATF. I put seafoam in the gas tank for two tanks to clean out the lines and injectors and such. The injector tips were clean, so I didn't bother with the solvent flush.
The car WILL smoke on the first start, but that is the excess ATF burning off. Relax, don't worry, and have a beer. After you drive it like you stole it of course.
