Mechanic says my new torque tube will be noisy....

Fair enough. I wasn't talking **** about the shop I was just worried about the unclear quote they gave me and the possibility of all the extra parts needing replacement.

the guy seemed nice on the phone and he phoned me today and he said the total cost will be about 1700 including taxes.

he said the sensors and fork did not need replacing but I think he said the clutch guide or whatever needed replacing .

and the clutch was actually not the rubber centre clutch and had about 50 percent left on it he said.

so anyways hopefully tom I will have time to pick it up and see if the torque tube vibrates like crazy or not....

i'm crossing my fingers that it won't be too bad. I can deal with a bit of bearing noise I just hope it doesn't vibrate insanely.

There are a few racers out there with custom aluminum torque tubes. I believe they all use the steel drive shaft, though.
