After buying the Haynes manual and seeing it does not cover the S model it looks like I need the factory manuals. I came across this pdf file that is a "5 volume, 2,041page" manual on the 944. In the description the S model is not mentioned. Does anyone have experience with this and happen to know if its what I need for my 1987 944s? Or does anyone know of a cheap source for the 944s manuals? I prefer pdf over hardcopy if possible.

I have them all on my computer, but they are too large to email, and i forgot where i downloaded them... sorry. Any suggestions on how to compress them or something?

Thanks, that looks like what I need.....unfortunately it looks like he has removed them from the site due to server overload.

I messaged the seller of the pdf but no answer yet. I think I might buy it anyway just to see.

Do yourself a BIG favor and give Sunset Porsche a call 800.346.0182. They had the factory 944 set on sale recently for $110 - which is a super deal. My experience with the online version is a PITA.

There is another site too that isn't as subject to overloads.... anyone know it? And yes, I would LOVE to have these things in real life instead of having to look on\ my computer, so if thats in your budget, i'd definitely go that route.

I can print copies at cost if you guys want...Hole punched and edge bound. Just PM me if interested and I'll figure out what that cost is. I have access to a couple large Ricoh printers.
