Default windshield wiper delay (how long?) 86 951

My windshield wipers work fine except when I set them on the delayed setting (or whatever it's called) they take about 23 seconds between wiper swipes. To me that seems like a Very long time to have rain falling on your window!!!! (even in light rain)

How long do yours take? Is it normal or a relay problem? Or maybe a switch problem?

Oh, and I think the spring in the driver side wiper arm is too weak..chatters at only 70+mph even with brand new wiper blades. Agreed?

BTW: 75 mph is the speed limit on interstates in MT so this is pretty annoying.

Um... turn the delay **** to control how often they wipe. I always thought that was one of the best systems!

Sounds like you need to locate the **** on the dash to the right of the steering column, and push it up (shorter interval), if the **** doesn't work or is not there you have another problem all together.

I'm sure glad MrPorsche951 posted today so that I'm not THE stupidest 951 owner to post on Rennlist today!
