Tifo,

I have a 14mm rear bar.

Thanks though!

BTW...Powerhaus wanted $595 for the front and $350 for the rear. Where do these companies get off selling this stuff so expensively?!

No Problem.

Damn. I could make some serious money then if I stripped my car.......

Nah, I don't think so.

Jason, sounds like you got a heck of a deal... I paid about $500 for the Cup bars on the 968.

Two install tips... if the bushings are reluctant to go on, use a little soapy water as a lube.

You're probably gonna find that the rear center brackets don't want to go on; the bolts will seem too short. Start the top bolt, then use vise-grips to squeeze the bottom edge of the bracket together to start the lower bolt.

If your rear bar is the one with three positions, start with the outer (softest) position, if the rest of your suspension is pretty much stock. Otherwise, you'll likely get some oversteer (at least I did, in the center position).

And give your mouth some rest now... you'll be grinning to the point of facial muscle cramps after the first test drive on a twisty road....

Jim, gone to do more howeowner stuff...

Tom,

You know I just went out to the garage and had a look at the current front bar and to my suprise there is no circiclip on it (keep in mind this is an 87 924S...steel a-arms). Is there suppossed to be one? I know the standard bushings for the bar are not used in my application, as I am having to bore out some from a 23mm 944 bar (Suggested by Jason @ paragon). Do I still need these for my application?

Thanks yet again,

Jason

Yes, the 30mm bar is the only one that uses them - however, ask first if they are included... they usually are.

Good Luck!

Do you need to re-align the rear suspension when installing the mouinting kit?

So, the front is 30mm, and hollow? This will give in the neighborhood of the same rate as the Weltmeister bar, but without the adjustability or rust and weight.

Hmm, that may be a better option than what I have now.

Not for cars originally equipped with a rear bar - the upper holes of the drop-links attach to the camber eccentric via a dedicated stud. For cars not having an existing drop-link, you must replace the camber eccentric with one fitted with the drop-link stud. Camber should then be adjusted.

- 477.511.515 - Camber eccentric, for rear stabilizer
- N.022.149.2 - M10 Bolt
- N.011.527.4 - A10 Washer

Good Luck!

Yes, hollow. Yes, near same rate. No, not adjustable. Powder coated - much lighter
