Post Waterbombed!!

Well the Porsche got her first taste of vandalism tonight, as I was driving around with the gf we were treated to a couple of watery explosions off the passenger side front window. The windows were up, sunroof on, we were ok and so was the car. FORTUNATELY, it wasn't a ROCK!

I got out and looked around, and of course the cowardly bastards were nowhere to be seen. Of course the police promised to 'check into it', but what can they really do?

The 'rock thing' came to mind because an old man was killed in Edmonton a few days ago when someone dropped a rock from an overpass as he drove by. The cops hope to charge him with 1st degree murder when they get him.

Let's see, that's one water balloon attack, and two ice ball attacks. I think I should move...

I had something attempted to my ride even worse this past winter. I'll post what I posted before and link you to the thread to see what everybody had to say at the end.

Okay, so tonite, about 1:45 in the AM, I get in my car and leave a friends house where a few of us had been relaxing and doing a whole lot of nothing (I wasn't really in the partying mood tonite...just getting over a week long sickness), and I take my little sister's boyfriend with me (he was over at my friend's house too). He asks me to stop at 7-11 so he can get some cigarettes, so I do. We leave 7-11, and, being that it is 29 degrees outside, and my car was fully warmed up at this point, I decide to give the 951 a little juice since she loves the cold weather. I get out onto route 3 (the major highway that runs along one side of our triangle shaped town), spin all the way through first, halfway through 2nd, and am up to 70, and then I realize I need to make my turn.
I turn onto Johns Hopkins road from route 3 north (a nice 90 degree right turn), and, because the tires are cold and hard, the car goes easily into a controlled drift, which, if no one is around, is perfectly harmless and a whole lot of fun. I get her straightened out, and about 500 feet down the road from this turn I see all these kids running out of the middle of the street. "Just some young kids up to no good" I thought. They were up to more than no good.

Luckily, I am blessed being the only person in my immediate family that doesn't require glasses (and having 20/13 or what ever vision, last time I had it checked), so I was able to spot what these kids were doing from a bit of a distance: They had layed out 2x4's all along both east-bound lanes of Johns Hopkins road. My car, as usual, stopped on a dime, but came a mere 5 feet from plowing into this baracade of wood. My little sister's boyfriend, who was riding shotgun, had no idea what was going on since he was drunk and is blind as a bat anyways. I immediately jumped out of my car (which was sitting in the middle of Johns Hopkins road with the E-brake deployed, turn signal still on from the turn I had taken 500 feet before, and little sis's BF in shotgun) and started running to the woods where I saw these punks run into. About 10 feet into the woods, I realized they were ducking, hiding somewhere, so I went back to my car in the middle of the street and started picking up the several 2x4's they left in the street and chucking them as hard into the woods as I could.

I then proceded to say the most god awful things I could think to these kids so they would maybe step out of the woods, calling them [curse mode]cocksucking ****rag *****-*** snatchgrease low-class dumb****ing ignorant panty-wastes[/curse mode] and what ever else I could think of. I really wanted to grab one of them and just smack them around for a little while, but I heard them run off after I called 911 on my cell phone (still standing in the middle of the street, mind you...of course no traffic had come since it was late night, but anyways) and reported the incident.

I don't remember being filled with the amount of rage I was tonite in a long time. I just sat there for about 20 seconds repeatedly revving my motor, and proceded to do the longest, most wicked burn out I think I ever have in my life. Boy was I pissed. If only I had been able to catch one of those little fkers...well...maybe it is best I didn't. I could only imagine how mad I would be if I actually hit the 2x4's, but luckily I was only going about 40 by the time I spotted them and was able to stop in time. Geez. Oh...here is a map of the area if anyone is interested

The very center of the map is where I busted the right turn, and heading south-east on Johns Hopkins road, directly across from the first left hand turn is where the boards were placed. Sorry for my rant and potty mouth, but I had to vent a bit.

The same happened here in the UK, a guy waqs killed when 2 punks dropped a concrete slab directly on to his car from an over pass.

I don't think anyone was ever caught !

I am always a bit leery of driving under bridges/overpasses if I see people on them because of these crimes. I try to change lanes to avoid going under the person. (Paranoid? I dunno...) By the time the police figure out that the crime was dropping a concrete block or whatever, the perpetrator is usually long gone.

People who commit these type of crimes (in which people's lives are intentionally endangered and often lost) are basically domestic terrorists and should be treated as such.

When these scumbags are convicted, they should be handcuffed, tied, and stacked on the highway - about a quarter mile in front of ribs' 951. <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />

C'mon man! What kind of an attitude is that? Think of the damage that would be done to the spoiler and other body panels hitting a load of crap like this at high speed!

No, better to bring out the big boys for this job. Get in the old Pete 379 with the big chrome Texas bumper, fill the wagon up to 40 tons, and take a good long run at the pr***s. I guess you could say that man and machine would become one!

when i was about 10 or 11, me and friends from the neighborhook (not a typo) would tie coke cans to the end of fishing lines, and then hang them up from trees across roads..

we would wait for cars to hook the line on their antennas and drag the coke cans behind them.

it was the absolute most HILLARIOUS thing ever at that age. quite harmless to. we werent thinking of breaking the antennas.

and then moving on into junior high, me and a group of buddies would walk on this freeway overpass on the way home from school and **** off into the highway on top of cars.

yep, we were bad kids.. no more of those jokes anymore. now that i have joined rennlist, i feel much more grown up and mature. at least from a first person philosophical stand point i must add.

::snap snap:: "garson.. please bring me and mr. John D your finest bottle of corvosier"
