the fan on my car wont stop running....and i noticed that my wipers go as if i put the timer delay function on when i turn my headlights on. what could be causing this?

 

First off let me say check the grounds. Sometimes shorts are bad. Then with the fan they will run after you shut off the car, until the car is somewhat cooled down. Now if it is just running all day and night, then you got a problem. Check the fan relay.

 

Did this happen after you washed the car or it rained? I had the problem with the wipers once when my fuse box got a little wet by accident with the cover off. Once the relay dried out they were fine again.

 

hmm, the fuse box cover was off for a bit while my hood was jammed shut and it snowed/rained....that may be it....
