Post UPDATE on group buy for "turbo" signs - $39 shipped.

Would you turbo guys and girls (or turbo wannabes) be interested in a group buy for a brushed aluminum garage sign in the "turbo" script? Basically like this, in brushed aluminum, around 5-6 feet wide...

<img src="http://p-caronline.com/pcosigns/951turboscriptgoodsilver.gif" alt=" - " />

<a href="http://www.p-caronline.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=59" target="_blank">http://www.p-caronline.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=59</a>

The price would be between 39 dollars shipped, is I receive the 10 pre-orders I need.

Simply respond here if you are interested.
It's a pretty cool sign. I have a "944" one up in my living room, no joke. A conversation piece most definitely! Would look perfect in any garage though, very cool.

Suggestion:
Make a "PORSCHE 944" one instead, and you'll get more people interested.

Just don't tell Porsche AG! (Shhhhhh!)

Let me know what you come up with on doing a run of them. I am interested, shoot me an Email or PM when you get ready to do it. I need more P-car stuff for the G-rage.

Last time I checked Porsche AG did not have copyright on the word "turbo". How big is the sign?

Matt.. put me on the list. I like the 951 someone else offers, but it is not the right font. I would love to have that one.

Guys, the sign is approximately 6' (feet) wide and proportionally high. It hasn't been constructed yet, that's why I need to drum up the support. I think 8 people won't be a problem though, already have a few interested.

Z- I can already get you a "PORSCHE" one I just don't advertise it for obvious reasons... I mean, I "know a guy"....

Matt do you know the difference between the 930, 993/996 and 944 "turbo" logos?

If you make one, make sure it's the "944 turbo"

it looks better

BUMP:

From an email I sent to those interested:

" <a href="http://www.p-caronline.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=59" target="_blank">http://www.p-caronline.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=59</a>

(IMPORTANT: At checkout, when you choose your shipping method, choose "Best Way" which will be $0.00 because this is a pre-order deposit, and no shipping charges are needed at this time.)

That is where you can pre-order the sign. There is a $10 deposit to pre-order. This is so those truly interested in getting this sign in their possession won't be hindered by tire-kickers. ;-) If you are a tire-kicker, not to worry! Take your time deciding if it's something you want. But don't take too long, as the final purchase price will increase once the "group buy" is over.

The group buy purchase price will be somewhere between $35-45, shipped to your door (ie., you pay no further shipping charges). This price depends upon the amount of pre-order deposits taken. When they are ready to ship, you will be emailed and you will only be responsible for the final price MINUS the $10 you already put down on deposit. For EXAMPLE, if the final price is $45, you will only need to pay $35. Remember, the final price INCLUDES shipping (which costs me approximately $10 per sign) so you will be receiving the actual sign at a very good price."

Take care,
Matt
